Visit of representatives of Albanian national, professional, businesswomen and crafts' association headed by Mrs. Flutura Xhabija, to the Embassy. They represented the Albanian businesswomen in the 3-day event organized in Bratislava, Slovakia by CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprises).
Dear citizens! The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania has published on its official website that, Albanian citizens and Slovak citizens do not need an Apostille stamp for their documents, since the documents are mutually recognized between the two countries, based on a bilateral agreement.
The tributes paid today at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Bratislava, from the diplomatic corps and the Albanian community, in honor of the genius of Albanian literature, the outstanding writer ISMAIL KADARE.
On January 24, 2024, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania to the Slovak Republic, Mr. Arten Hanku, presented the Credentials to the President of the Slovak Republic, Mrs. Zuzana Čaputová. After the Protocol Ceremony, Ambassador Hanku was received in a personal meeting by President Čaputová, where the current situation of relations between the two countries was discussed, as well as the priorities of their future development. The meeting passed in a very positive and friendly atmosphere.

Participation of the Mayor of Tirana Mr. Erion Veliaj at the Summit: "Pact of Free Cities", organized by the Municipality of Bratislava on May 27-28, 2024, with the participation of over 17 mayors from all over Europe and his attractive presentation in the activity panels, on various topics on development of Tirana.
The meeting of the Ambassador Mr. Arten Hanku with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Marek Eštok. In a friendly climate, they discussed the current positive status of bilateral relations and the issues of mutual interest between our two countries.
On April 20, 2024, the activity for the promotion of the first poetry book, the volume of poems entitled " Këngët e Shekullit Kallkan", by the Kosovar author Iliriane Baraliu-Lladrovci, took place in the premises of the Embassy. At the promotion took part, Diplomats, representatives of the academic field, students, representatives of business and the Albanian community residing in Slovakia.
