After Tirana, the MFA and foreign embassies present scholarship opportunities to study abroad for the youth in Shkodra
 
Under the auspices of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with embassies of various countries accredited in Albania, held today in the city of Shkodra the event ”Open Day: Scholarship opportunities to study abroad for students and the youth in Shkodra“.
This event comes in Shkodra shortly as a follow up of the one held in the capital and recorded a higher participation because as Minister Bushati stated “Shkodra is the city of wisdom, which has generated most of the country‘s sharpest pens. In this regard, I would like to appraise the figure of Luigj Gurakuqi who has given a valuable contribution to education”.
“This event provides an opportunity for every student and talented apprentices as well as to parents who make sacrifices for granting their children with educational opportunities“ - Minister Bushati added. “We would like to build a solid data base for all students studying abroad, so as to implement their education in the improvement and development of the country. To this initiative, another one will be attached, that of Wiki academy which will help improvement of the country's image. I would like to thank Ambassador Lu who is representing here today the USA for the opportunities that this country and other countries offer for the education of the younger generations in Albania“ - Minister Bushati concluded.
